Abstract
The present workshop will examine some of the main principles, concepts and therapeutic factors which make group analysis a powerful therapeutic instrument, and is addressed to clinically experienced practitioners who are interested in becoming more familiar with it. The concept of the matrix, the group phenomena, such as mirroring and resonance, the role of the conductor, the figure ground relationship, the role of boundaries, inclusion and exclusion criteria and other aspects of group analytic theory and practice will be explored.
The above will be illustrated by participation in an experiential group, in order to offer the members of this group the opportunity to have personal involvement in a group analytic way.
